Yeah...I guess Vegas has grown so much. BIG City now. Haven't been thru there since I was a kid. Where the street walkers hang out would definitely be shady and a little scary.

Las Vegas is one place I would never want to visit

Seedy has always been what I have thought and those instant marriages - Yuck. They can be annulled as quickly as the vows are made. Haste and waste city is what I would call it and all those lights that cover the darkness of the city's greedy soul.

I hate gambling therefore I am biased.

I think if I ever visited America I would like to get one of those camper vans and travel across the country seeing what I believe would be a truer version of the USA I would start somewhere in Colarado say and try to go through all 51 states and end up in Canada. Kentucky and some of the southern states like Virgina, Delaware and Texas I would not mind visiting and especially New York. I can imagine what bliss it must be to have all those Kosher restaurants to choose from to eat in and the gelt to do so too.

Just like any city with bright lights...

...the dark side is just around every corner.
It's not even a nice place to visit if you lose your money at gambling...

A place that I would love to visit but I suspected and you have confirmed

Victoria

I’ve always thought (perhaps because of some images I’ve seen in movies) that living is Las Vegas would almost be sensory over-load.  Those images of bright lights, flashy shows, and happy people drinking and gambling is merely a façade for the underbelly, I’m sure.

hmmm, that's right, prostitution is legal there
I need a job, wonder if that would be a good career move for me. LOL

Welcome home, Vic.  Sometimes we just have to have the experience to know it's not for us!  Mal

Ah, I thought all this had to stay in Vegas! lol I think it is a good thing for the pic, but an awful way to live! I feel for the homeless but I can imagine it would be difficult to see them every day and know it a way of life. The lights would drive me nuts, escalate my migraines too! One thing though, it was an experience and it serves to make one better! I think it was horrible too, you didn't win any money for me either! lol sammie
