As many members of Congress have served in Cabinet posts in the past, and Congress has been setting salaries for government positions for a while, it seems likely that this issue has a long enough history that it will turn out to be a non-issue. After all, there were lawsuits challenging both Barack Obama's and John McCain's U. S. citizenship. Both were tossed as trivial and without merit. But we'll see.
