I had to work today so I did not get a chance to see the beginning of the regime, I mean Obama's inaugration. Even if I had off today I still would have found an old movie to watch or something worthy of my time.
If this yet another so-called reverend did spew out this worthless liberal garbage then it does not shock me at all. What does shock me is the lack of intelligence of this man. What years is he in? From the words you wrote here it seems that he is still whining about the same old crap from 50 years ago. Did he bother to see that an interracial man was being sworn in as president? Maybe, maybe not. I just found what this old fool said completly stupid, self serving and inappropriate. I think Obama is an intelligent and decent man and has great potential, but hopefully this retardation in the guise of a benediction is not indicative of Obamas own sentiments and priorities.

I almost agree with you. I don't think either invocation or benediction has any place in official government proceedings. The content makes little difference.
