I had a solution but nobody in power wanted to hear it
Also, spending, when our banking system is configured the way it is, only compounds the problem.  This is because the government, in this case, is expanding its demand for credit, crowding out private demand, so that business collapse from cash flow problems and other businesses avoid that problem by contracting when, under easier credit, they would be expanding.

Mark my words, we are heading into the Great Depression II.  It is certain because the same group of morons, Congress, which got us into this mess are back in power, with one of their own soon to be at the helm.  They think that the Return on Equity gang on Wall Street, or what's left of them because most of the top robbers have already taken their Return and ran, they think this bunch will put things back in some semblance of order, that they would even want to.  But, even if they wanted to, these short-sighted executive suite pirates haven't a clue how to create a stable, sustainable organization.  They are not going to  put Humpty-Dumpty back together again, but they are perfectly willing to be showered with money and pretend to be gluing.

You can take a look at my website concerning my solution to the original problem, the collapse of private mortgage banking: http://www.carlpeterklapper.org/solution.html.  Under the current circumstances, it will be necessary to add more features of my Popular Capitalist program.

I truly wonder if there is an answer! I with you and prayer seems like a very viable option! sam
