What are you waiting for? I have 2 books of poetry published, 6 novels, 9 in the pipeline and of course this little blog exercise.

I am very interested in finding out more about this, as I have been finishing up my first book (Worlds away, listed in poetry) and would like to start looking into publishing.  I talked to a few self-publishing companies, and they want lots of money to do anything.  Is this e-publishing?  How does this all work?
