Great poem Marta! For any life lost is wrong. We are one and I wish I could answer your question! But it has to end and peace prevail! It is such a poignant plea! sammy  xoxoxo

THOUGH IT IS SO SAD, SORRY IT WILL NEVER END, UNTIL THE DAY GOD TELLS HIS SON, GO GET MY CHILDREN, YES THEY ALL SAY THEY SERVE GOD, BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, SO MANY PRAY TO A GOD WHO CAN NOT HEAR HIM, I AM GLAD THAT MY SAVIOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE AND SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER, INTERCEDING FOR US, THE ONLY WAY TO GOD IS THROUGH HIM, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. BEAUTIFUL POEM AND THOUGHTS, IT TEARS YOUR HEART APART TO SEE THINGS LIKE THIS, BUT UNTIL THE ENEMY IS BOUND AND THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE IT WILL GO ON, BUT WE HAVE A SAVIOR IF WE WILL JUST ACCEPT HIM, THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HEART, I LOVE READING YOUR POETRY, KENT

It's even worse when children grow up thinking that violence is the norm. Every time I see a picture of a child injured in just another senseless bomb attack I want to adopt half of the world and carry them to safety. My dear, please come back to Miami soon! If I'm in dire straits with my visitors, I can turn to you for help.

Sinome
When will it end?  That’s the question….  And, yes, it particularly sad that children grow up thinking violence is a means to an end.

It is heartbreaking from all directions. Generations not knowing anything but bombs and bloodshed. When will it stop indeed. ~PEACE>> PEACE>>>PEACE

A most potent and powerful piece my dear Sinome
the message is quite clear and a very necessary one; the powers that be should take note before it is too late for all of us; many blessings and thanks

Simone, these are powerful lines and lie at the root of the problem:
All  claim to have G-d on their side
but not many are on the side of G-d

It will never end so long as God remains a silent observer !

So passionately the message of the need for tolerance and unification speaks, loud and boldly, that it elicits a big Wah! Kudos, my princess, you are indeed ocean-kissed. Hope you are recovered from that damned flu.  and lots of xoxos.

All my appreciation for the ending of your poem. We all need peace. But the blockade of Gaza violates every charter in human rights. Killing innocent people and starving them to death is not an act of God. It is a very in humane treatment. Our heart goes to the Palestinian people for all their suffering and their pain. Stop the killing is our goal. Your poem was very emotional, yet I hoped you started your poem by descibing the pain of the Palestinians people by saying ""under the deadly starvation and occupation an explosion invaded someone's soul."" Thanks for your good heart and the ending of your poem.Peace on Earth.

Sinome

Well said again luv, but there is no love left there in that part of the world.

I have no idea where it will end but wherever that will be, I think Israel holds a great responsibility for it all over vengeance and hate over the holocaust, and over continuing to hold territory that is not rightfully their's.

My feelings are very convoluted you see, I am one who did plant 9 trees in Israel, one for each of my children and step-children, and as much as I supported the idea of Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people, I just wish peace could be found there for them and the Palestinians before it's too late.

Tears for all damage done to so many . Questioning reason. Surviving in fear spawns anger and hate. Sorrowful

I too, weep for the children
What legacy are we leaving for our children? Hate seems to be the predominate influence in too many parts of the world. Too many have forgotten their Creator.
