Re: Benzinha, exactly how many computers DO you have?

majroj, Spring will be glorious this year with all the extra moisture and I cannot wait and shall plant a thousand things and watch six actually grow, I'm sure.

I have one stupid computer and the recent fiddling with it has made it insist upon a harddrive erasure and reinstall and that is fine as it is four years old and the master harddrive disk memory is beyond full.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and ho ho ho. I have been sleeping in each morning, my gift to me and what fun that is. I have been staying up later, visiting, and what fun that is, too.

Re: Your Seasonal wishes for us all, are so eloquent!

What I have learned, Guy, is to fake it til it's real. The more that you fake being a better human being, the more often that choice is offered and appears when things pop up, no??!?!

Mom will die a saint, but didn't start that way. Now, we all want to be like her, but I remember her in less saintly times and that is fine, we change for the better, if we have any brains at all.

I have people that I would dearly like to slap, too, but smile at instead. They don't know to fear that smile more, silly things. I read that southerners will be extremely polite to you up until the moment that they kill you, if you drive them to it. I am secretly like that.

With my old greyhead and wrinkly smile, a girl told me to bite her one day, I stepped closer and asked, "Where, honey?" and she stepped back, as she should have, because I can bite.

But, I fake gentleness and wisdom and kindness and generosity and love 99.06 % of the time and it is almost really me by now.

I might become dangerous if dementia sets in and I forget, however.

Re: Right back at ya!
Whacky, I hope that your holidays have been and continue to be the warmest and best. Happy New Year to you.

Re: Merry Christmas to you too

Azur, it is the best thing to do. I did much of it this year and just listened more and spoke less and laughed and loved each moment.

Savouring things this time around. Slow, small, and chewed thirty-two times before swallowing seasonal holiday bites and bytes.

I hope that you really did do it and enjoy it as I did.

Happy New Year and a sip of wine for me then, as I will toast you and majroj for sure on that night, if I'm not asleep in my chair like me old ma.....

Benzinha, exactly how many computers DO you have?
Welcome to the holiday doldrums. Imagine how fast everything's going to grow next spring!

Your Seasonal wishes for us all, are so eloquent!

You eminate such serenity and benevolent optimism, that I just want to go out and give someone a big hug. There are still a few people out there that I would DEARLY like to slap, but so far, I haven't. When I grow up, I want to be just like you!

Merry Christmas to you too
I will put my feet up, and relax a while remembering you told me to do it.
