It would be nice to have Christmas all year round.  At least the joy and goodwill part (lol)

I was beginning to believe we were also going to have to use a lot of
imagination this Christmas; but lo and behold the heavens have opened these past two days! I love this weather and especially so at this time of year; this is a beautiful piece Sinome; the imagery is wonderful and I was completely taken in reading it!  Many blessings and thanks my friend

Beautiful, and I know exactly what you mean.  The Christmas times that I have spent in Florida with Son#3 and his family have been not like Christmas at all with dinner cooked on the grill on the patio and most of the day spent at Disney World or such.  But, how wonderful to be with those you love and hold the wonder of Christmas in ones heart.

I find my eyes filled with tears. Yes.. this poem is deep and brilliant. I could feel the pain and see the sky so clearly. I love viewing the sky at times..doesn't everyone. It's great to meditate upon.

Sinome

I just loved this one as well luv, amazing writing.

"I  thanked the Spirit and I softly cried
as we walked back home filled with His light.
knowing that it did not matter
if Christmas was green or white,
for as long as we were together
everything was alright.

I looked at you, and  in your lips I saw a smile.
I  thanked the Spirit and I softly cried
as we walked back home filled with His light.

I love this for it gives me great peace. There is much to be said for being together regardless of the color. My son cannot get a flight because the planes are grounded and I will see him after Christmas. Take care and I hope you are feeling better! Love you like a green Christmas that is filled with light from my snowy desert darlin'! sammyxoxoxo
