I didn't attack anyone's belief; I am just using scripture.

and it is YHVH who commands:  

Exd 20:3

Thou shalt have no other gods before me

It's a statement.

I believe the god that is prevalent in Christian perception is an idol.

That is your belief! Just as I believe in God. However, I could not help but notice your attack:

"This is God, not some manufactured male anthropomorphic image."

Why the attack on my belief when I have said nothing about yours but that it is a belief just like mine? There you go again, just like kooka and gomedome, attacking constantly. If, in your eyes, something does not exist then why do you attack it so fervently? You do not see me on here creating an entire website to bash YHVH or any other belief. I may disagree with those beliefs but I am not obsessed with the need to bash it daily. Wonder what is behind all of that outrage?

This is very interesting. I like the description of God as you know it to be. I had never thought of the four letter thing.. very cool. I wonder though.. how does this make you an atheist? ~peace
