Re: I must admit Lustor-that it was not easy doing this one-in only three
lines and I had wondered whether to 'expand' it? For me-the-'huge dark mushroom'-was just as the skies looked the other evening-together with the stars-ie;'smothered in tiny star lights'--the 'tear drop' are those we shed here on earth-'reflected' by the stars! Don't know if that helps-or if my mind is playing 'tricks'? I'm pleased you made this comment!Chris.

Gorgeous Chris :-) There is a chandelier in my family room that at a certain time every day, I call it the magical hour to my grandkids, gets hit by the sun light and bursts into a rainbow of little tinny color dots all over the walls and the ceiling..This poem reminded me of that :-) Lovely HAiku :-)
