Re-Packaged Darwinism
The Humanist Manifesto is nothing more than Darwinism. All liberal minded persons ascribe to one or all of these theories. Nothing new here at all. I do not agree with this because it is nothing but evolution beliefs. In order to prove once and for all there is no God then an atheist, agnostic or whatever would have to possess infinite wisdom or knowledge and there has never been anyone on this planet who has possessed that level of knowledge. The Humanist Manifesto is simply yet another example of Man searching for something to believe in; I chose a long time ago to believe in God. Good luck with the manifesto.

Re: yes, it sounds reasonable
and if Christ means nothing to you, that is a grave state to be in.

One day you and the others will understand.

yes, it sounds reasonable
but it replaces Christ, which is the point. If Christ means nothing to you, than you see nothing wrong with this.

Xeno-x - there is nothing wrong at all with anything in that manifesto
Other than it does not allow for religious delusion and when this is considered, it is ultimately why we see an agenda against this type of rational worldview. One thing is certain, this world would be a much better place if this manifesto was held in the same regard as some of the archaic scribblings utilized as doctrine by religious folks.
