Poor Jane, she was somebodies baby. Thank you for sharing

We killed her with our self-righteousness....
...and assessing a persons worth by their status. And it happens everyday.
This is a courageous and gripping poem, Sinome.

Sinome

Terribly sad and I agree;

We killed her, all  of us
because when she passed by us we turned our face.
Jane was her name.

We did kill her.

this was a very intense commentary on each of us at some point or another. to have it said like you've done, is, at once, revealing, provocative and very disturbing. my hair stand on end and i know i will be thinking of this for a long time.

Her name was Jane...................so many homeless & nameless Janes fade away on the streets of life.

It was heart-rending and the word felicity, simply magical. I could picture you as someone ... Sinomeone, loll ... deeply sensitive princess of classical style. This has touched your desert prince's  very deeply. I'll want to preserve it, of course, with your permission, and wish that you post more of such wonderfully creative works. xoxoxoxoxo group s.

Bravo my dear Sinome
an excellent take on a part of life most people pretend does not exist; there are unfortunately many Janes still in the world and we would do well to include them in our prayers and especially at this time of year; many blessings and thanks

Sinome ~.~
An awesome poem that describes the situation of many young women. Thank you for reminding us that they, too, are someone's daughters -- perhaps someone's mom. Peace, blessings and understanding.~SS

Its so cold here outside I just want to go gather all the homeless
I can and bring them inside after reading this terrible tragic poem. How well you awaken the emotions.

You are so right Marta. Selfishness lets fwear fule over compassion. May Jane rest in the arms of peace and love!

OH my! What a tremendous piece of work my dear Martha! Such gripping ode to this unfortunate young soul...which you versed  in exceptionally magnetic words. I guess indeed we are my dear, guilty of missing to meet the eye of the distraught or the helpless before us, next to us or walking naked and barefooted around us which most people tend to see only pretentious clothing. Or maybe too any of us could be one Jane from the past or in the future... This piece I should say is one of your finest dear, may her (Jane) soul find peace which was deprived of her from this forbidden land....
