Hi Kabu!  Thanks for reading...Being absent from Blogit I'm sure affects my readership as well.  I have a busy life and can't devote the time that many can here.

Re: The reason I am not here so much is
Hey Azur!  You know, I'd rather see a writer on Blogit that DOESN'T post often, but always posts something worth reading.

I guess there are sometimes reasons why some post stay a bit in a rut.
I think some people have issues with health both physical and mental and just to blog at all is difficult, but yes, so is reading them faithfully too I suppose.

The reason I am not here so much is
because I am pushing into new writing frontiers. But the thing I like about Blogit is that I can test ideas.

I don't give as much time to polishing here as my paid work. I agree that some things get to sound the same

TAPS, I love your humor.

Well, FYS, maybe when you get old like me, you will understand.    You see, some days when I write, I just plain old have forgotten that I've already written about that--two or three times probably.  Just like I find myself reapeating things to my loved ones.  I used to find it irritating when my dad did that.  Now its my turn.  LOL

Re: hmmmmm...I respect what you are saying, however,

hi hazel, thanks for reading.  I don't think that posting fun, light works are an example of this.  Some of the most inspiring and entertaining pieces I've read are lighthearted.  But they're still original.

Good luck on your fiction!

Re: FYS

Troosha, thank you for pointing out yet another issue that drives me bonkers.  Why is it so hard for people to grasp that proper punctuation, grammar and spelling FACILITATE UNDERSTANDING?

And for the record, Troosh, your poetry is an example of work to which I'm constantly drawn.

hmmmmm...I respect what you are saying, however,
Blogit is my fun place to write.  I know I usually write silly posts. I keep it light, or at least, I try to. I feel since I'm paying for it, I want to enjoy myself and have fun.  I post dark or serious stuff occasionlly, but usually I just like to laugh. I have stepped outside my comfort zone and am writing a fictional story.  I've been writing for Hubpages and Associated Content, as well. struggling to be a "paid" writer and much more serious on those sites. I do understand where you're coming from, though. Have a great day.

FYS
What drives me nuts is writers who fail to “write”; who fail to respect that the English language is deserving of care and attention, punctuation, proper grammar, and even a spell check once in a while wouldn’t hurt.  And, yes, those people who simply repeat themselves attempting to drive their point home time and time again become a little tiresome to read.  We get it already… now give us something new to chew on.
