We dont need to look far... awesome. Self-introspection for a change would do us a world of good.

It would be nice if we lived in a world....
....where we could just "be" without having to "become."
Another beguiling poem, Sinome.

Your existentialist friend (John) has to be so pleased! I really allowed my self to become part of the imagery and it was existentialist too! Just fantastic! I love that we just are! You made me smile with the thought of becoming a minister. It is intriguing for one does have to be a trained minister in my faith but it is highly recommended. A calling from the Lord would suffice. Look out, I just start writing sermons here on Blogit! lol Love you :)

Another great poem! '
What steals the child's unselfish glow.?' Ah yes, our knowledge of self, the curse and glory of human consciousness...

We spin great webs of circular reasoning,
and call it virtue, life and truth
while Truth stands amused at this little wave
What imagery! This poem particularly. I so enjoyed reading that I read it slowly, thrice over, savoring the fragrance of each phrase. I salute your deep understanding which, so naturally flows and glows. Kudos! Princess of the warm ocean kissed sands. Thank you also for bringing me the realization that I too am a poet. I must ask you to be my teacher. By putting those words in the poetic form, a new discovery 'swam into my ken' (range of knowledge), as Keats says in his reading of a translation of Homer by Chapman. Love you for all you are. That's all that your coll desert sand prince say ... xoxoxo

Wow! Thanks. I agree with Merkie--a wealth of consistent images, that I could almost see between the spaces. Wonderful flow and rhythm. Could just feel it flowing out of you. Quite a treat to read an inspired write.

We spin great webs of circular reasoning,
and call it virtue, life and truth
while Truth stands amused at this little wave
which does not see it is the ocean.
and misses the simple meaning of it all:
We don't need to search near or far,
we just are. ......A grand summary of wisdom and overveiw of existence. You have so many great lines it is difficult to choose between them as all are wise and a gift in song.

Sinome ~.~
An incredible piece -- so full of incite and wisdom. Every line a lesson within itself; but if I had to choose my favorite one...
Sorrow begins with the first step we take beyond simplicity.
Thanks so much for sharing, dear poet. Peace, blessings and understanding.
