Such a powerful and sincere expression of generous love.

Oh my princess of the ocean kissed sands, you really made my feelings go hither and thither, kept me guessing all the time as I read, and as if I was on an unknown journey that ended with a twist of flourish  "obvously I do not love you I cannot forget"  Your desert prince is happy and sends you his xoxos.

Secret
Sinome does it again!  Always your poems appeal to the heart of me, make me feel like you've seen what's there and expressed it ever so elegantly.

This is a great poem ...

...a great thought - I agree with you about not to forget : should we forget Hitler, Stalin wars, violence etc.

- it's from the past we learn about shaping the day today and tomorrow - Winston Churchill said (in my own words): "The only thing we've learned from our history is that we don't learn from it" - and that's one of the tragedies of humankind (have been so far) - but maybe we one day will remember so very well the past and ... learn from it - then we probably also can learn to forgive - - genio

The shape of the poem on the page enhances you poem so well. It seems the SECRET is in your mind, eyes, and the smile of your lips. I am left wondering how many admit to the secrets in life!

Sinome
Can’t decide if this was satisfying resolve or painful resignation…. Either way, in your usual graceful manner you brought the reader into your heart and soulful introspection.  You have wonderful gift of doing that….
