You know this iis really something else you wrote this on Friday and in Sunday school we were talking about how God's children has nothing to fear.  That the only ones that really fear are the ones that are in sin. God will never let his own without.  We will always have our needs met. Great message

Some good ideas here
and all forms of preparation are better than none at all - those with flexible plans are most likely to get through it

I made it through this one totally, maybe you are looking at reality, but there has to be more positive steps as those that shout negative get those more then those that shout positives.

Excellent piece, Dave...I might add ...

some additional thoughts : 1. Use the time wisely for self-improvement 2. Look for additional work, even part-time 3. Think of new ways of doing business 4. Talk to others and be open to their ideas.

Good work, looking forward to more, best, Ash

The Future. . .
I like your perspectives.  However It seems to create in me a reason to believe that we really are going back to where we started after perhaps some unavoidable upheavals that would reduce the major parts of the earth into rubbles. Some people think that I am an extremist but the signs dont look good. On the other hand, there is a God who would, in the name of Love preserve what we hold dear. . . And if this is the right kind of life we live today then God would preserve this; If it is not, then God has no reason to preserve it. Thanks for touching my soul.

Yes, there is a great need for coping skills right now
Especially since it looks like nobody in power is going to listen to my solution to this mess.  BTW it does not involve any money for bailing out or "stabilization" (with "stabilization" like that, who needs destabilization?) and addresses the fundamental flaws of our political economy.
