Left to my own devices, I don't eat food with salt
I prepare my dinners from scratch without salt, so I know I am fine there.
Unfortunately, most people add too much salt preparing food and, unless it is popcorn at the movies or french fries from McDonald's and others, it can be difficult to detect. This time of the year is the worse, with party food and snacks everywhere.

Re: Lowering the Salt.
Hi sam444, you are absolutely right. If use with limits, it does enhance our food.
Have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by, Mind Portal.

Re: Great post!
Humble thanks, teddypoet. Leaving the salt alone, will work wonders for your health.
You and I both know that. Thanks for stopping by, mind portal.

Great post!

Mrs. Dash and I went salt-free for a year or better some time back...how I lapsed back onto the salt wagon I haven't a clue but I will be giving her another toss over the shoulder soon...

I have always said that salt is a silent killer! I use very little of it myself! I think it is a harsh taste anyway! sam
