Sinome
This was beautiful.....but so melancholy to me, and I know it is full of hope so I don't really know why it strikes me so...... Anyway, there are no new ways to tell you how very excellent your pieces are....so, "Ditto"

I liked we will go to the light together but I thought this was astonishing: It is enough to see the light, though dim, is still alive
and flickers in your eyes, so beautiful, so sad,
for one small spark is all we need to build the raging flame
which makes us live and love again
Just beautiful sweetie! sammy

That's a mighty big "if", Sinome, but one worth striving for.  Beautiful thoughts, beautiful committment.

Love comes in many forms, shapes, sizes, colors, etc., changing constantly, throughout time evolving, you seem to know it well, love that is.... I love the last line in this poem, it just says  it all.

Beautiful
and heartfelt words. You must feel really drained after writing verse like this?

Sinome

They are all so very special, like this;and I agree 'love is too strong a living force'. Wiley and Kabu

"For love is too strong a living force
to stand behind the rigid wall of sickness and dwell there,
there amidst neglected hope and unfed dreams,
abandoned touch and silence full of muffled wailing
"

The spirit of sacrifice comes out loud and clear. The lines on growing within each other's shadows are special.

Love your expressions. This one was special because you revealed the spirit of sacrifice. The lines...

Sinome
“If I can make that spark into a fire” – sounds like a lot of work to me.  Love shouldn’t require one person doing that much work or giving up of themselves in order for it to thrive (though, as women, we often think along these lines…).  I have come to learn that love is a mutual endeavour and both people have to keep the fire going.  I enjoyed your analogy of love being like two eagles flying – “never beyond each other’s sound”.  That was great!

Where there is a spark my dear Sinome
there is a very good chance for the fire to rekindle and then that spark means that there is always hope; excellent piece my friend; many blessings and thanks - have a great week ahead

If we could only turn the spark into flame again out from behind the illness. If only! Sad sweet hearted poetess. Inspiring with hope.
