Re: Allegations of Obama hiding his birth certificate are simply nonsense
Yeah I forwarded the link to firnes, one fairly conservative.  He said the site is suspect due to Obama and the other guy havuing had a hand in it at one time.

He didn't refute the document itself though.  Just sort of implied that it has to be a lie.  That makes the entire Democratic Party liars.   Maybe prosecute the entire Party for fraud for supporting Obama and hiding the fact that he is not a citizen?  -- more on this later.

I don't think Bush would stay in longer. Wouldn't Biden just become president unless Obama running would invalidate the entire ticket?

Re: Obama hiding his birth certificate . . I clicked on the link Gomey
Xeno-x - you have to wonder about the general level of maturity of the people who are capable of believing things like this.

Obama hiding his birth certificate . . I clicked on the link Gomey
that you gave me -- then I emailed a lot of friends so they could read and pass on (and, of course, there are those who will say it was doctored).

Allegations of Obama hiding his birth certificate are simply nonsense
When the rumors hit their peak on this issue back in the spring, Obama's campaign people posted his birth certificate on his web site for all to see. It was then deemed as a forgery by those insistent on proliferating this nonsense, despite not one person making these claims ever having examined the original document. Now we still have some people that are capable of believing that the democratic party and its supporters would invest millions of dollars in a candidate with a dark little secret that could blow up their efforts. To those people I say stop embarrassing yourselves. An image of his birth certificate can be found still all over the internet: HERE

Re: Re:
I'm with Corbin on this.  If there wasn't a concern with his citizenship, then why did he bend over backwards to prevent the information from getting out? Why not just whip open the passport or birth certificate and make it available?  If you have nothing to hide . . . .

THE BOTTOM LINE ON THE QUESTION OF OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP
From "wikianswers"

Phil Berg's "phantom" lawsuit has zero chance of succeeding in any court of law because these allegations are not based upon fact. A United States birth certificate is a factual US document that verifies the birthplace and citizenship of an American. What makes it a factual, truthful document is that the United States government attests to its authenticity with a seal on the document. In order to obtain a valid US passport, this birth certificate with its official US government seal must accompany the passport application along with a sworn statement by the person applying for the passport. If Mr. Obama were not a US citizen or naturalized citizen, he would not have been able to obtain a valid US passport.

This "phantom" lawsuit is nothing more than a hoax spread around the Internet in a futile attempt to discredit an otherwise fine Presidential candidate. A baseless rumor of this nature is easy to refute.

Also, to clarify the distinction between gossip, rumor, or fact...

1.) Gossip is defined as lazy, trivial conversations about the private, personal qualities or behavior of others in a perjorative manner which may or may not be supported by facts(Kimmel, 2004).

2.) Rumor is defined as a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty of facts (Kimmel, 2004).

3.) Fact is defined as statement or story that has been confirmed as accurate and truthful (Kimmel, 2004).

Xeno-x - it's nothing more than mindless drivel posted by little leaguers
To think that a presidential nominee could hide something like that and then to proliferate it as if it has any credence, demonstrates that the author has a child's view of how the world works. Who knows what Berg thinks he is going to accomplish by revisiting this same old tired argument? Snopes covered this and legal opinions by other notable experts have all said the same thing.

Re:
That copy is said to be altered.......it has been analyzed.   I do have one question....since this shouldn't be an issue......why wouldn't Obama just say OK Hawaii  show it to the press.....as smart as the campaign has been, not doing it only continues to raise the suspicions...(I'm not crusading with this....I just found it and thought it would make a good discussion post...)

I agree, At the same time I can not imagine what is going to take place if some radical stupid  attempts to assassinate our knew president and succeeds, the out come will be unimaginable.
