Re: Balance
Thanks mystik! Please see my reply to merkie! When one balance point fails, one must adjust to another in order to keep that sameness of consciousness that is faith, balance and commitment.. all wrapped in one!

Thanks! One should not ever have to live in want and deprivation. It is suppressing to the Soul. Such a Soul is unable to pierce the haze of pain and devaluation to connect with God. God never intended it to be this way. But evil does! Satan will do all to keep us from connecting with the Father. So, there is the reason for the woes we have. Hope must be grounded as honest possibilities or else we are talking 'pies in the sky'. Of course, we could become hermits and so leave the material world for satan. Satan cannot stop good people from being born, though he tried to kill infants. The most he can do is make a world that forces one to become evil. Then the 'haze of pain' becomes a veil blocking out God. Reduce your wants and pursue health. That is the practical side of hope!

Re: I guess I am an odd one
Thanks Bel. Is there such a thing as an 'educated' hope?

Sinome
I have been tip toe-ing thru blogit from time to time. I rested up for a while there. I originally wanted to quit because I was very short of free time. Now, I have more time and should be posting more regularly. Thanks though, its good to know that there are friends here who miss me. It is sad, however, that many of my older friends are not here anymore!

Balance
I like what you said about balance. "It is in balance that God is easily percieved".

"It is in BALANCE that God is easily perceived." Sometimes we walk a tightrope but hope will be a grand umbrella for balance. God awareness!

I guess I am an odd one
I believe that hope is a nice place to start. Given I don't comment on politics because it's always a very volitile subject, I'll just say that without hope we have nothing. Agree or disagree, there is always hope.
