A president elect is stepping into a world where candid remarks about individuals are not part of the territory. He must learn this and not make these types of gaffes. I have no doubt that it was simply an impromptu blunder but he has to know better.

He did what he should have done........
we can only give him the benefit of the doubt as to whether it was self-initiated or under advise of his staff.......RSM could easily have come to his conclusion based on past remarks and multiple revisions after reactions occurred.....
Since we know very little about the man's background....his performance in the campaign is basically all we have to judge him by.....he does have a penchant for throwing people under the train.

No, why would have the remark come out anyway? he made an inappropriate remark and then his staff called him on it. Number 1, why was the remark ever made? Number 2, why does his staff have to remind him of anything because he is perfect according to his supporters, heck they even insult Jesus Christ by calling Hussein Obama the Messiah, what a joke! There is no one on this earth who is the Messiah!!!
You may want to double check your conservatism. I do not remember any Republican making snide comments about past democrat first ladies at day four after the election. This guy is a fraud! Always has been and always will be!
