I would have put on shoes or slippers and changed some of this,
our shared experience.
Fall is not here.
I can't wait for it to come here as it came to you.
We are still having temperatures over 90 and are hot and of course, I love that. Hot is my favorite low temperature.
There is a smallish chill at dawn, but the day microwaves that away fast.
No sweaters, no rains, just daily warmth and sunshine and life as usual. Lovely stuff, but your writing made me long for that cold, quiet chill.
Then, I got over it. Writing is wonderful when it can do that, but you really made me cold and I had to go stand outside in the darned sun for a few minutes.
I actually had the cooler on until I read you, then I had to turn it off.
THAT is good writing.
