Your "Faded Memories" are wonderful.
So many of your childhood memories are much the same as mine.

Childhood - and I grew up in the bush - is the unforgettable time of life. Our childhood that is. I wish the expectations of the modern child were tempered by the creativity and solace of the countryside.

Truly enchanting, and it does bring back things for me as well! Although I am a city boy, on my mother's side my relatives were farmers, and I often spent my summer vacations in the country - golden memories...

I have similar memories and you have me chasing them in my mind. I wish the children of today could enjoy childhood that way.
