What comes first to your mind? A life with B? Getting a well-paid job? You seem to be a social person, so moving to a new place should not be a problem. What is holding you back? Are you not sure it would work out? Can you not go and live with him "on trial" for a few weeks to see if that is what you want? To have an every-day life with him and not just a romantic weekend... Just a suggestion. 
I also find myself wondering about people I see on the street. All kinds of stories runs through my head - some of them end up as a poem :) I wonder what people think when they look at me. So often I have made the wrong assumptions, when you get to know the real story.
