Excellent. Renewal keeps us going.

Vicky I think I fly in the fall with you. It is an awesome season of changes.A golden banquet of colors to feast upon before winter's dream time arrival. Ever to renew in spring.I did not get the video so your poem is truly the star.

great rhythm
I love the feel of this - almost dreamy and yet so present in it's melancholy.  Beautifully done!

I have always liked Justin Hayward's version but it is interesting the other recordings:

  • Vigrass and Osborne performed it on their 1972 album, Queues. This version also appeared as a single.
  • Justin Hayward performed it on the 1978 album, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. He has since performed several versions as part of The Moody Blues.
  • Pierre Belmonde, on the 1980 album, Themes for Dreams.
  • Acker Bilk, on the 1980 album, Mellow Music.
  • Paul Brett, on the 1980 album, Guitar Trek. This version also appeared as a single.
  • Peter Hayward, on the 1982 album, Hayward's Choice.
  • Ronnie Aldrich, on the 1987 album, For All Seasons.
  • Ed Starink, on the 1992 album, Synthesizer Gold.
  •

Enjoy! I liked the poem too! sam

    Yellow
Autumn is so often viewed as a time of “endings” rather than “renewal” so I really enjoyed you giving it a positive spin.
