differences in ages, character, disabilities - none of these can stand in
the way of true friendship.....

Can't help myself....He tresure his friends,  Your probably meant he treasures his friends (or maybe not).  And as someone else said, age really doesn't matter when it comes to making a true friend.

Such a heartwarming piece my dear!
Most beautifully done; age is so irrelevant - as far as I am aware there is no rule that says it is in any relationship; I also have friends much younger than myself and it works perfectly!  Many blessings and thanks for sharing

Absolutely lovely. Age is totally irrelevant, be it in love or friendship.

omigosh, lovely.

Your editor says that both words SEE need an s at their endings.

I love communication between generations, and health recovered or partly re-established, and growing and finding yourself.

It is why youngsters are so much fun.

We oldsters have found ourselves and are trying to improve what we have found and find daily, if still searching, but

Kids are on the path and at early stages and it is just a joy to watch as their self discoveries and personal style appear.

Lovely work here.

A sensitive poem written ...
... with feelings and thoughts from the heart ... splendid - love has depths far beyond our too often condemning and narrow-minded consciousness ... and sometimes we're so lucky that we reach this force of intensity and care -  - genio
