Oh Geez, typical of our heavy handed but frequently senseless,
TSA folk, as funded by our tax dollars.  It's likely pure luck that there's not been another terrorist attack on the US via the airways.

Re:
I've set off a few metal detectors, not with anything internal yet, LOL.  But I got star-fished once.  So now mostly I stay home.

Re: So, after all that rigamarole, the wine must taste extra fine!
I'm saving the wine for my brother's visit this weekend.  I've never actually been on a train ride.  I'd love to try it sometime.

Re: LOL
Yes, airports scare me, too.  But still, if I could go with Liz, I would.

Whew...what a mess we've become.  I am very discouraged from flying commercial as my life's experiences have left me with a huge metal rod in my left tibia (think Joe Theisman).

Of course all the bells and whistles sound every time I go through security.  They then send me to secondary and run me through the very humiliating process of having me stand like a star fish as they run their devices, including hands all over my body.  Yes very discouraging.  I wonder if I am on some sort of TSA list now....

I hate airports, too. If we could just take a train to Europe.... :)pat

LOL
Airports are frightful even without the terrorists.
