Wonderful imagery.....I live in Texas, too.....and I'm lovin' the advent of Fall, my favorite season.....then I'll be ready for a little cold and getting to finally use the rest of the firewood I bought last year....but, right now, I'm still wearing my sandals!

Isn’t it strange that even before fall or winter is in full swing, we already anticipate the reappearance of spring?  Winter, although it has its own unique beauty, is often viewed as a period of darkness or time placed on hold.

Thank you Riversidepoet, I live in Texas so I'm sure they will be. (HOPE, PRAY) I don't like the cold.

Nice, Brickhouse.  We have lots of Canada geese in this area.  I kind of like the sound of their honking.
