We shut down on ramps and off ramps to our freeways for over eight or so miles of road, for the next few YEARS or so!!!
You can drive on the frontage roads, thank goodness, along either side of the freeway if you want to escape that area within the 8 miles, BUT, if you choose to stay ON the freeways after the last on/off ramp is sealed, then, it's an 8 mile non-stop run to the next exit.
All of the businesses and hotels and motels that line the freeway, the gas stations and restaurants, are all losing business BADLY.
