YOU ARE VERY CORRECT
Exploiting the tragedy of 9/11 by repressing the American People in violation of the U. S. Constitution and basically smashing the vision of the Founding Fathers is the greatest evil perpetrated on the American People.
My take on the whole thing is yes, neither major political party is ideal (I lean toward the other direction, though, from you, Green Party, Ralph Nader, etc.). However, Republican policies have not only taken away our freedoms, but are causing the present economic crisis in lending, finance, etc. I feel we should do all we can to diminish that party and hope that Democrats can do some small part to avert this rush to an abyss.

When we write we never know how people will take what we write.
My father fought in WWII as did my uncles, my father had 2 purple hearts. I was not insulted. Having lived in New York for 15 years and worked in lower Manhattan and even went to lunch at Windows of the World, i had friends and their children that could have been in the towers, but thank god they were not. My husbands family live just blocks from where the twin towers were, i am still not insulted by your blog.
You make good points, it seems as if we are putting more energy into remembering the dead than making a better country for our children and grandchildren. Yes, keep us thinking of those that lost their lives and we will not be investigating and worrying about all our lost liberties. And for someone to make a comment about exterminating your ideas, he must have forgotten that this country was founded on freedom of ideas, and is what made this country great.
Your write some very good posts, keep up the good work.

Exterminated?
Now that is un-American, a person who cannot abide a difference of opinion. Now
that's pathetic. Whatever happened to civil doscourse on differences of opinion. I belong to no party and have still not decided for whom I will vote; it will be either ron paul or Bob Barr, if you are interested. My Dad was also a WW II veteran, but what has that got to do with anything?

Well...
From your posts, I am not certain of what political persuasion you hale from. At first I thought you to be a dead ringer for a democrat then I read the last sentence. Nevertheless, it is this kind of thought that if it was to prevail across our nation then the United States of America would no longer exist. Your kind of thought process must be exterminated. That post not only insulted my dad, a WWII veteran, not only all involved in 9-11 which was the entire nation minus yourself but every veteran of war in the history of this nation.
You are pathetic!
