Yes, but my question was, what did the McCain camp do with them after their event? I mean, every year, thousands of flags are handed out during 4th of July parades all across the nation, and then disappear by the 6th. And I doubt everyone is observing proper flag protocol with these plastic imitations. Not even Sarah Palin is that silly.

Had you bothered to read the story you would have seen that one worker gathered up the bags full of flags and offered them to the McCain campaign.........they were the benefactors of not only the flags but the resulting press........
