I don't believe Ron Paul can win this year. But McCain could.
is that he will likely be absorbing votes out of Obama's side. And that could lead to the Republicans once again making themselves cozy in the West Wing. The Libertarian Party is not yet strong enough to take the win away from either Reps or Dems, but is strong enough to decide matters in a negative way.
I understand very well that this party wants to make a showing, to grow as a significant force, but is this the election in which to do it? I'd consider voting for Libertarian candidates for other offices this year, but I, for one, want the Republicans out of the seat of power.
