enjoyed this post, there is a philosophy that states that life is but a dream, it is like a movie that we are watching, and unless we learn lifes lessons we are destined to keep dreaming. we will continue to return to other dreams over and over.  I have read a book called " a course in miracles"  that holds this belief.

Interesting thought.  I love to dream, but it's true that coming out to play in reality is part of the appeal of dreaming.

Sunnybeach7..
I enjoyed reading your excellent post.  Some things you spoke of, I had not previously looked at in that particular angle.  I enjoyed reading the comments, too. Nice presentation!

Happiness is a choice in how you assimilate and adapt in life. I think you are right  one dream is not enough forever .

so many good ideas in this blog,

The realization that no one or nothing can make us happy, we have to make ourselves happy, and nothing does that like knowing who you are and what you want and then the action of going for it.  If we do not do things that make us happy within ourselves, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

So often we are happy with the status quo, because we are in a comfortable place, i can relate to that.  Dreams that could turn into nightmares, another way of saying that is "be careful for what you wish for, you just may get it."

Again i enjoyed this blog, it was well written and food for thought.

Sinome... nice to see you...thank you for your kind thoughts.
I have been guilty of excessive dreaming. Since childhood, I have been very much a day dreamer...locking myself in my own little world, to shut out the rest.

Afzal...I still have a bit of pain...especially on the left side of my neck
It will take a few days at least for the meds to take affect for everything to be back to "normal".

You are MY light...you really mean the world to me. If there is anything I know, it is that you complete my life. I will never stop fighting to have you with me.

Shelly... there is probably some meaning in these dreams that you
have yet to figure out. It doesn't mean it has anything to do with planes. Things in dreams are often symbolic.

I have the same problem with dreaming of being in high school, and missing the bus, sometimes combined, sometimes not.... it's always missing the bus from where I am leaving...and I can never manage to find a ride home.

I've been having these for years (long before I actually lost transportation)

I've never told anyone this but I have a lot of dreams about

plane crashes.  They don't blow up or burst into flames or anything.  They just kind of fall apart.  But they do hit something, if that makes sense.  Oh, and I always wake up before I know if anyone is hurt.  Actually, the last one I had, everyone was OK!  That was a first.  It's so wierd that I have these.  They happen at least twice or more a month.

I blame my fear of flying.  I'll probably have one tonight since I just talked about it.

You are so wise and inspiring . You are my light in darkness .
I know , I have to be focused to be near you and I will definitely do it . I am happy you are feeling better and strong. I shall be with you at my usual time. I've missed you so much .

Sunny... this was marvelous,  I guess you had your moment of epiphany.  Those moments when everything all of a sudden becomes clear are rare but invaluable.  Many of us have them and then forget what they were really all about, but you seem to have grasped the essence of it quite firmly. I agree with you in that dreaming is good but action has to balance it.  All dreaming can be dangerous for we loose the sense of reality.  All action has to be terrible, empty and boring.  So a happy balance, as with everything in life, is what I believe would take us closer to bliss .  I am happy you are feeling better.  I have been complicated but I have thought of you and prayed for your tranquility.  Take care of you
