Outstanding imagery in addressing this inner conflict! I am pleasantly astonished at the up and downs I went trough with this imagery! I think this is an excellent poem. It is is raw but in the sense that it is so depictive of humanity and the struggle we all have to some degree with the wellness, and the lingering in ailment seemed to be so much stronger. Human nature is baffling. I love this poem. I can't say it is your best, but damn close, but man O man it got me to the very fiber of my being. You rock darlin' sam
