Thank you, everyone
The poem is about restraint of passion/emotion, which prevents a person from growing and experiencing life. The restraint(frigidity) is caused by the fear of losing self-worth. This person fears they will lose their worth if they act out (unfreeze). It is not clearly stated, but Frigidity is represented much like a 'Snow Queen' (H. C. Anderson's antagonistic character from the work of the same name).

Hi Luz, as I see this poem, I think it some form of passion calling with great force, but is somehow unable to find expression, be it conditioned or repressed. Desire wanting release? ? ? It's a wonderful, wonderful work, and while is says a lot, a lot it does not say, too. That's how interpret this work

The Kingdom of Alone - a lot of people have been there and it is not a nice
place to be..its a kingdom where either men or women can be frigid emotionally...
I can see why you consider this is one of your best, Luz..
.
I read it through a number of times and felt the chill..

Lustorlove. it's just a metaphor
yeah...myself included. but it's Repulsion Vs. Apathy. the poem is about overcoming some kind of unnatural repression of desire. it doesn't have to be about sex.
