Ciel, feels good to have been missed
The Worldcon was great. A lot to do and me and my
family kept busy there.
The one panel I was on seemed to have gone over
well, even though we did not have too big of a crowd, which surprised me because
there is still a huge following for Harry Potter.
Thanks for the offer on the 'spook stuff'. Cool
that you used to have your own shop. Not sure all of what we nee just yet.
Hopefully this weekend at our Scout hike we're doing we'll get some stuff
finalized and I can start really working on it all. So far my plans are to use
stuff that we can either build easily or that I have access to. Basically I
want to keep it real simple.
Right now I am already working on some little
things that might be used for it. I've been putting up displays for work with
flashing LEDs in them and as they come down I am snagging the LEDs before we
throw it all out. They are already set up for a blinking partner in sets of
two, so all I have to do is attach them to a nice flat black background with the
lights paired up and it looks like blinking eyes in the dark. I find the
pattner a little fast, but it does work.

I've been meaning to ask how the Con went. I see you posted a bit on it already. Got pictures?
I used to have a costume/theatrical makeup/props store. Still have lots of stuff in storage. Let me know if you're looking for anything in particular for your spooking about!
