Sinome
Writing is such a wonderful release.  Your thoughts in this poem sadden me, but your outlook inspires me.

Sinome
I can't remember who it was that said 'When your heart is heavy it overflows', and you turn that overflow into poetry...

Hi there, my ocean kissed sands, princess Marta
I must commend you for the soulful poems you write and the way you can leave people gasping the way you close is something that I find brilliant in you. Kudos!from your desert prince xoxo.

Wonderfully written
this beautiful piece will have all writers empathising with you, as I suspect we all use our poetry to find out how we feel about things sometimes.

As for love, I don't believe it requires trust or even that they love you too, these are just things we would prefer to have in place as well to limit the probability  that we will be hurt.

This is wonderful! I like to write when the world seems heavy! The imagery is stunning and the meaning touches me deeply! I especially liked: I smile... and just feel...
for this one memory I can  keep.
What an exceptional way to end a poem of this magnitude. I say brilliant! Love to you Sinome! sam

They say feelings are a writer's greatest inspiration, but when I'm drowned by a multitude of them, I can't write either. I feel too suffocated, pulled into many ways. Its too hard to focus. But writing does help me work out and understand for myseld, the "whys" in the world. Such an amazing poem. The saddest thing is when we only have memories to hold on to. Beautiful poem.

Memories...and dreaming...
Nothing wrong with that.
While you dream, reach for the stars...have everything you want.
Love is not so easily turned off, by lack of trust.  We can't help what we feel, we don't get to be "in charge".

You just have to make the best of it, till happiness smiles on you again.

Your sadness is a shadow and your memory a  precious light. Balance these with care and write more. It helps!

This is so sad......and even though this has nothing to do with painful, yet sweet memories...one of my poems came into my head with the reading of yours, that I thought was a good answer to the pain.  Here's the link, if you'd like to see it: Theft

Memories are good to keep
as long as they stay in their place.
