I did wonder if it's something in the air, this dark gothic shade of creativity that is coming up here and there... or if my foray into the darkness has had a stimulating effect on you?

Your thoughts are always so interesting.

We'll see where it goes, hopefully...if it goes.
The italics...emphasis...for a few reasons, maybe?

I guess I write it like it's being read out loud... perhaps with eerie emphasis on those words, and perhaps a brief pause after some of them?

Definitely, not thought about in advance, but entirely made up as I go along. No telling what might happen. I only hope I can connect the dots from day to day. lol

You're creating something strange and possibly wonderful here...

I get the feeling you are bringing this out of some deep place within, not a calculated sort of writing composed and contrived in the intellect. Nightmarish images, disconnected connects, lateral horror... It'll be interesting to see where you go with it.

One thing I'm not getting is why you are putting some words in italics. Why the italics? Why these particular words? This isn't a suggestion that you shouldn't--you're the creator here, it's your baby! I am just wondering about it.
