Re: I cannot believe this. I must have looked at this post three times

Thanks, azur, I do want all grandchildren residing within thirty minutes of my home and am so glad that the gods put this one nearer to me as I don't know what to do aboutmy newest granddaughter so far away.

I just want to hold her and do with her what I did with Royal all the night before last.

Re: he is awesome!

Thanks, Whacky, I like him very much. I took care of him the second night of his life and after his mom fed him, I told her to go back to sleep, that I would take care of all else and she did, and I held him all night. No baby plastic hospital boxes for my boy....

We rocked and sang and watched the Olympic Opening Ceremonies twice. He stared at the changing lights as though he could really see them. And, he turned his head when I spoke.

I think that my dogs will love him, too.

Re: 5 1/2 hours isn't bad at all...

cheugon, his face unswelled a bit the second day. He got even cuter, but I'm not prejudiced in this belief, heh heh heh......

My old mother, holding him for the first time in the hospital sang him his first lullaby, taught to her by her British mother-in-law decades ago when I was born. Then she looked him over and said that he had a familiar face and looked just like the rest of the family.

That's my mom, profound.

Re: A cute bundle that anyone would love to cuddle
He is a cutie and loves to be hugged. He quiets the minute you finish changing him or whatever and just hold him. Immediate loving silence. He understands....

Re: benzhina

Bhaskar.ing, he has yet to visit my home and won't for the longest time, unless I will be allowed to babysit him when his mother returns to work.

It is a thought that tiptoes periodically through my head......thank you for your kind wishes.

5 1/2 hours isn't bad at all...
...my daughter took 14 hours to be born, and my son much less, but, 5 1/2...that's great!
And the baby is beautiful!
