Thanks Ciel.  It is really heart warming to know that I am not alone in how I feel.  It really feels good to have someone to share my feelings with.

No matter how prepared one is for a death, it's impossible to be prepared.  No matter how you understand it, or what you believe about it, there will still be echoes in your own depths that you didn't even know were there.

Experiencing a death so close to one's self truly brings home our humaness and awakens our humanity, for better or worse.

I agree it is a natural and it will happen to all of us sooner or later
for myself I prefer it to be MUCH later.  Even so, I try to make sure that I don't let the chance slip by to tell those I love how much they mean to me.
