Non-attachment is not to ignore our feelings or not to allow us to express emotions. It is like a good doctor's mind in treating or operating on a patient with severe illness. One can be sympathetic and caring, but without hampered by the possible adverse outcome of the event and instead focusing on what is most needed to be done to benefit the situation for the people involved. However for a meditation practitioner, this attitude needs to be applied to all personal events with a loss and gain stake. One tries to examine one's mind on the situations and not to allow oneself to sink deeply into the well of emotional attachments within interactions in daily activities, to avoid the building up of further attachments. One can care and love; but one doesn't need to be attached and be vulnerable later. When you have no strong attachments, even if you leave the world at the instant; you will have no serious regret or remorse.

O, I am good at this one! I suffer from dis-associative behavior syndrome! It does work and life is less filled with the clutter on the surface!  sam
