When people are constantly
tearing downs the institutions that provides sources and instruction in the development of these beliefs....you have a generational dilution that occurs.....mores, civility, manners....all are cast aside and moral relativism begins to fill in the void......

I live for mine and will die for it too. Many are already dying for their belief (on both sides of various conflicts all over the world), but those who look on from the sideline do not realize it fully yet, while they judge the saints who are dying to be insane, wrong, deluded etc.
