What puzzles me--besides Democrats generally and representatives of
good sense and integrity particularly allowing GWBush to go as far as he has without accountability, is why Nancy Pelosi thinks she speaks for all Americans. She may be the Speaker of the House, but how does she take the possibility of impeachment 'off the table?' Isn't it our call, the People's call? If enough of us want impeachment of the man who some of us believe stole the Presidency twice, outright lied to us and our international allies about the reasons and necessity of invading Iraq, and has from the beginning run an administration as a private dime-store for his favorite folks and their interests --Halliburton comes to mind-- and has woven his religious agendas into the functioning of the State... Then Pelosi has little to say about it. She works for us. They all work for us. Even Bush works for us, if only he knew it, if only we remembered it!
