How are they going to age Lynette's kids? I guess those kids are out of
a job.
This "jumping to the future" concept worked really well with One Tree Hill (the teen drama with 20-something actors)... instead of trying to keep the show going while they go to college (every unrealistic for them all to attend the same school), they just started it again 5 years later. Made sense for them, but why do it on Desperate Housewives? I guess they were running out of storylines.
