LOL!!!!!!!!!  From surfers searching for the perfect wave, eh?  Niiiiice.  ahhahaha, loved the history lesson!  Seriously Joe, I love your poem.  Even if it hadn't been me, I would have loved that poem....(but I probably like it a lot more because it has me in it!)   It is an absolutely witty and divine piece!!  You  are a great talent!

Well, right now my favorite nursery rhyme is "Mindy Had a Little Verse." Few people know that the original version of this poem was penned by monks in a little known monastery near Malibu.  It was lost, buried in the sand for many years, until it was re-discovered by religious surfers searching for the perfect wave.   I have other favorite nursery rhymes.  Perhaps another one will appear one day on this site.  But forever more "Mindy Had a Little Verse" will remain my favorite.  I must admit I do have a fondness for "Jack and Jill".
