Re: Re: But can anyone write fiction? I have written little fiction
I like to consider myself a writer, and it is just fascinating when I think about how fiction comes into existence.  Your explaination is helpful, as I see it is a totally different mind set.  The wiring is foreign and mysterious to me.  But I know how mine works, so maybe I can reverse engineer and apply the lessons to my abilities.  Fiction is in my box of treasured goals

Re: But can anyone write fiction? I have written little fiction
I'm not really sure, to be honest - I tend to start with the kernel of an idea, and then I need to write all the bits that come before to explain a particular situation, and then I need to explore the consequences of it... I do get inspired when I read great writers or watch a great movie or just experience anything that makes me think "Wow, what a story!" and it tends to then bring out anything that's lurking in my mind...  Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by to read my posts.

But can anyone write fiction? I have written little fiction
but when i do it is often after reading an exceptional novel...How do you become inspired?  Does it just spring forth?
