I bow before genius
Chris, you have detailed views that I vehemently share in a manner far more powerful than I ever could. I was going to point to this line or that to show where I thought the poem was at it's best, but I'd have to copy the whole thing in here.

Thanks so much for reading!
NiteTide, Rumored, vickip, contagion_publishing, mariaki, Kobriel, Troosha, wigopa, mysteria and everyone who has contacted me offline. Thank you SO, SO much for your wonderful feedback and comments. It means a lot to me to have you affected by Endgame in the manner that you are. Stay tuned for more!
mysteria, No I have never read open mic, but I do see the value with a piece like this. When I write, I'm more concerned with pacing and rhythm than I am with numbers of syllables and exact rhymes. In my mind, these poems sound the same everytime, but to someone else, they may not have the same dramatic impression that I do of my own pacing. Good thoughts, but there aren't many open mics here in Japan...outside of kareoke parlors.
Thanks again to all,
-Chris

Christopher, I don't have to tell you that you have a great gift
And passsionate!!! Wow...you REALLY feel things. You give emotions a good name and what a great media for your message. Wonderful combination. I am wondering do you recite your work? live mic nights and such? I would like to hear it expressed. Make a vid on youtube !

Frightening!
But I felt hints of "unlimited ones" still going about. Though you didn't mention them. I was very touched by this, I nearly cried because so many people are brainwashed and limited....and I see it and I just want to yell wake up!

The media are famous for telling us what we 'pay' to hear.... few know
the true bias of the press and marketing gurus of network news. Dan Rather was the biggest whore of them all. These are great lines, well done:
Reality is scripted, biased truth is televised
Ignoring our own instincts, faith detached and anarchized
Every day a new transgression, every day a portent of doom
Always an impending disaster coming soon to your living room

Marineair, I have some catching up to do, but this is almost frightening...
We really are brainwashed by the media (or close to it). Reality becomes fantasy and fantasy becomes reality....no wonder we're in trouble.....

Best poem I have read in a long time that probes the present reality in an incisive way! You have done well!
