Hey Slam - This is a great entry and very informative. Beside the crude oil speculators I believe that the cost of the Euro is driving the value of the pound and dollar into the mud. I understand that Iran and China both now only accept payments for crude in Euro's. I think that only when they release an equivalent type currency (I think the plans are to call it the Amero) will stabilization begin to occur. By the way, gas is currently $3.92 per gallon at my nearest petrol station.
