Ah, indeed, our muse's are so controlling sometimes!! I completely understand what you mean!! Thank you for answering and thank you for being kind and not calling me crazy (but most people on here will beg to differ! lol)

Re: NiteTide
Thanks for the question. And you are certainly not crazy. I am pleased that you read the poem so carefully. My intention was to rhyme the 2nd and 4th lines, however my inclination is to rhyme 1st and 3rd, and 2nd and 4th. Sometimes my muse just takes control, and poetic license only allows so much breaking of the laws.

hauntingly sad ~ but often the such - the parting creeps in and finally the barriers echo the silence. Touching - well-written ~ Elyse

ah, I had a question on your format. Was there an intentional use of your certain rhyming scheme since not every other line rhymed together once in a while....okay did that even make sense?? LOL. If it made sense, I'd love an answer. If it didn't make sense, just pretend I'm crazy and ignore me.

This poem was so wonderfully written....and so vastly sad. I could easily picture a home filled with feelings of abandoned love and laughter, just haunting my brain.......
