As a reader I am comfortable with the way the story opens. I like how you introduced the past to set the predicament. I thought everything in this segment belonged there. I was especially taken with the set up his eyes!  sam

I have had my own misfortunes in my youth and today I battle with  disassociate behavior syndrome! This subject matter is good because the misdeeds to children can impact a life forever. I will do the best I can on reading but may have to leave calling cards, it will have nothing to do with your writing but more with the fact I just don't say much in this area! sam
